Like everything else about Hokkaido, the architecture here is not typical of Japan. There is no old style roofs that are prevalent in the rest of the japan. Instead, a rough square architectural style finds its place here – right angles, small windows, exposed concrete. Needles to say, some of the warmest hearts inhibit these tough looking structures.
